👨👨👦 What is a family membership?
A family membership package is ideal for adults who have children in their family who do not have their own email address and/or their own device. Multiple family members can use the same device / account and switch between the family members.

- Households who want one subscription for all members
- Groups who want flexible pricing for multiple adults and children
⭐ Key features
- Can be paid or free
- Supports custom group sizes (default: 4 adults and 6 children)
- Add extra adults or children at any time for a set price
- Set a custom duration (default is 12 months)
- Includes Advanced Activation
- Built-in family price calculator under the Family Settings tab
What counts as an adult or child?
In Hivepass, an adult is anyone aged 18 years or older, while a child is under 17 years of age.
These definitions help with package limits and pricing, especially when using the family calculator.
Note: Recurring or rolling memberships are not currently available for family packages.
📱Devices and logins
- Children without an email or device can share a family login and switch profiles within the app.
- Children who do have an email and device can create their own Hivepass login and join the family group.

In the Hivepass admin, the Family Settings tab includes a pricing calculator that helps you estimate the right setup based on the number of adults and children in your package. It ensures your pricing is fair, consistent, and easy to manage.
