Family membership

Family memberships allow two or more users, with or without email addresses, to be grouped and paid for together under a single family account.

A family membership package is ideal for adults who have children in their family who do not have their own email address and/or their own device. Multiple family members can use the same device / account and switch between the family members.

Children who do have their own device can create their own log in to Hivepass. They must have an email address to do this.


A family membership can be:

  • Paid or free
  • Customised to a set number of people. The Hivepass default is 4 adults and 6 children. An 'adult' is 18 years + and a 'child' is under 17 years or age
  • Each extra child and adult can be added in the app, at any time for a set price
  • A custom duration (A family membership package is 12 month duration by default)
  • Advanced Activation.

The Family Settings tab includes a family price calculator to help determine the right price for your base adults and children.

Note: Recurring subscriptions or rolling memberships are not currently available for families.
