Individual membership
An individual membership is designed for a single user who has their own email address and their own device.
📦 What is an individual membership type?
An individual membership type is the template used to create memberships that apply to just one person. These can include:
- Adult
- Youth
- Recurring or subscription (auto-renews every 12 months)
- Short-term
- Trial membership
- Event membership (e.g. a one-day membership for a specific event)
- Free memberships (activated by a promo code or not)
- Custom duration memberships (e.g. a 2-month visitor membership)
👉 Note: By default, an individual membership type has a 12-month duration, but this can be adjusted.
Event memberships are intended only for short, specific purposes and should not be confused with standard short-term memberships.
