How waivers work for families

When registering a family, the Primary Family Member can sign the waiver on behalf of any minors or piggyback members without an email address.
  1. Ensure that under Settings-> Organisation Settings the 'Legal adult age' is set correctly for your organisation. Note: The Legal adult age is defaulted to 18.
  2. Save

The Primary Family Member will need to be over the legal adult age when setting up the family membership. This is how it works:
  1. After selecting the Membership Package they require, they will be asked if they are over the legal age you have set for your organisation

  1. Enter their address details
  2. Enter details of their family members
  3. Go to PAY (which will trigger the waiver process)
  4. At this stage the Primary Family Member only will need to enter their birth date

  1. The waiver will be viewed next and at the bottom they are required to sign on behalf of themselves and any minor or piggyback members in their family.

  1. Select 'I Agree to the Terms & Conditions'. This will take them back to the payment screen so that they can complete the membership process.

Note: Once the family is registered and active (paid for), the secondary members of the family / those with an email address will be sent an email including a link to agree to the waiver. They will also be prompted to sign the waiver when they create their own account on their own device.

Each time another family member who is a minor is added in the app, the Primary Family Member will be required to agree to the waiver on their behalf.
  1. On the digital card, select the family icon
  2. Edit my family
  3. Pay for additional children
  4. Enter name to agree to the waiver. The family members that the Primary is signing on behalf of will be listed above the T & C's button.

Note: If the family member is an adult with an email address, they will be sent an email to agree to the waiver.
