Basic registration QR codes
Create your first QR code
Please note: Your organisation will need to have registration open in order for the QR code or url to work. You can set the organisation to hidden in Settings -> Organisation Settings to stop users without the QR code or url registering.
- Go to Settings - QR Codes - QR Code Styling to make sure you have set up your QR code styling first, you will only need to do this once. You can read more about this here.
- Go to Settings - QR Codes - QR Codes (Hivepass)
- Select "New QR code".
- Select "Registration"
- Enter a name and description for the QR code. You can always change these later.
- Click on the "Social Preview" tab.
- The text and image on this tab can NOT be changed once the QR code is published so think about the text carefully.
- If you want to change the image before publishing you will currently need to do this by changing the QR code style image. Just remember to change it back after you publish the QR code.
- The social title, description and image will appear in 2 different locations.
- If the link/url for the QR code is copied into a social app chat or shared on a social app.
- The iOS app store preview page if the user does not have the app installed.
- Enter a social title and social description.
- Click "Publish and Save".
- You should now see your new QR code in the list on the QR codes list page.
