QR code styling

Set up your QR code styling

  1. The first step is to set up your QR code styling. You can do this under Resources > QR Codes > QR Styling.
  2. Upload an image for you QR code or turn on the “No Image” option if you don’t want an image.
  3. Select the dot colour, corner dot colour and background colour. Ideally you want a high level of contrast between the background and foreground colours so the QR code can be scanned easily in low levels of light. The admin app will not let you choose low contrast colours, and as you load in your chosen colours, a FAIL or PASS will appear under the QR Code to indicate whether the level of contrast is sufficient.

If you want a standard black QR code then you can turn on the “No frills QR code” option. Black and white will always have the highest contrast.

If you like you can select a dark background and light dots such as below.

4. Click Save.
