đĨ What can these statistics tell me?
Tracking recipient behaviour helps you understand how effective your campaign was.
These insights can show you:
- How well your messaging resonated with your audience
- Which user groups respond best to certain types of communication
- What content drives engagement, such as whether recipients signed up for a membership after seeing a promoted event or news item
You can also see how many recipients joined your organisation after reading the email. This is called a conversion.
đ Conversions
A conversion is recorded when a recipient clicks a link within the email and completes a membership activation. Hivepass counts conversions in the following cases:
Case 1: If the recipient opened the email in the last 7 days before activation and joined/activated then we count it as due to the EC. (Open envelope icon)
Case 2: When a user clicks ANY button/link on the email including the join button in the 7 days prior to activation. (Arrow cursor icon)
Case 3: If the EC is sent to the user in the last 48 hours and they activate then this will count as a conversion for that EC. (Delivered/ inbox icon)

After an EC has been sent, the detailed statistics will appear at the head of the campaign page:

đĄ The conversion statistic can be particularly helpful when running a membership drive email campaign.
â After sending an email campaign
After sending your email campaign, statistics can take up to 15 minutes to refresh for large campaigns (i.e: sent to hundreds of addresses). Effectively, statistics will update every time the page is reloaded and a full refresh is run overnight, every night.
Giving you up to date information on how the campaign is performing.
đ§ Email campaign limits
Limits are displayed at the top of the email campaign page:
- How many emails you have sent this month and what the limit is
- How many email campaigns you have created and what the limit is
As standard, your organisation will have a limit of 2000 emails and 2 email campaigns per month.

đĄ Information on how to upgrade to paid plans will be added here once beta testing is complete.
