💸 Are you paying the correct Stripe fees?
If your organisation is a registered nonprofit and processes the majority (80% or more) of its payments through Stripe, you may be eligible for discounted rates.

📨 How to apply for the Stripe nonprofit discount
Email nonprofit@stripe.com with the following:
- Your organisation's nonprofit status
- Confirmation that 80% or more of your Stripe transactions are donation payments

🤔 Not sure what you're currently paying?
- Open your Stripe dashboard on the payments page
- Click on any payment
- Ensure it's a local card, as foreign cards may have different rates
- Hover the pointer over the "i" on the fee row.
Use this formula to calculate your current Stripe percentage:
(Stripe processing fees - $0.30) - Amount * 100 = Stripe fee %
Example:
- Fee: $0.98 on a $25 donation
- (0.98-0.30) / 25 * 100 = 2.72%
In this example, the organisation does not have the non profit discount and is losing out on 0.2% of all revenue.
If you're seeing anything above the nonprofit rate, you're likely missing out on savings.

Visit Stripe's support page and click "Contact support" in the top right: 📧 Contact Stripe support about nonprofit rates
