Stripe non profit discount

Are you paying the correct fees with your Stripe account?

If you are a not for profit and using Stripe for the majority of your donations (80%)you can contact Stripe to get a discounted rate. Stripe non profit discount

If your organization has nonprofit status and will be processing 80% or more of donation payments on Stripe, email nonprofit@stripe.com with the following information:

I'm not sure what we are paying?

Open your Stripe dashboard on the payments page
- https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments
Click on any payment
- Make sure it is not a for a foreign card as these can be different rates
Hover the pointer over the "i" on the fee row.
- Use this formula to work out the Stripe percentage
  - (Stripe processing fees - $0.30) - Amount * 100 = Stripe fee %
  - e.g. (0.98-0.30) / 25 * 100 = 2.72%

You can see in the real world example above that this organisation does not have the non profit discount and is losing out on 0.2% of all revenue.
