How to cancel and refund a recurring membership

Need to stop a member’s recurring membership? Here’s how to cancel it and issue a refund if needed.

In this article:

Cancel from the mobile app (member-led)

  1. The member opens the Account screen in the Hivepass app
  2. Tap on Subscription
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription

If the member needs a refund, only an admin can issue it through Stripe.

  • Go to the member's profile in the Hivepass Admin App
  • Click View in Stripe
  • In Stripe, click the ⋮ menu next to the cancelled subscription
  • Click Refund

Cancel from the admin app (admin-led)

  1. Go to the member’s profile
  2. Click on the Payment tab
  3. Click Cancel Subscription

To issue a refund:

  • Click View in Stripe on the member's profile
  • In Stripe, click the ⋮ menu next to the cancelled subscription
  • Click Refund
