Give you users access to the QR code

  • Physical location
    • Printing the QR code
      • How you print the QR code depends on the location.
      • If the location is outdoors the material needs to be durable. You can print the QR code on bumper stickers or similar that will withstand the weather.
      • For indoor locations the QR code can be printed on a sheet of paper and pinned to a notice board.
    • Possible locations
      • It depends on your organisation. Ideally a location where possible members will make an appearance. You can also tailor specific QR codes for specific segments of the population e.g. youth
      • Trails hubs, shops, get members to stick them on their cars etc.
  • Website
    • Place the QR code image on your website. It is best to also provide the url that comes with the QR code in case the user is on a mobile device as it can be hard to scan a QR code that is in a browser window. The url gives the user the option to just click on the link.
  • Email
    • You can send the QR code out in an email to contacts. It is best to also provide the url that comes with the QR code in case the user is on a mobile device as it can be hard to scan a QR code that is on a screen. The url gives the user the option to just click on the link.
