Member registration confirmation popup
Parent and chapter organisations can configure a popup prompting the user to confirm their selection.
❗️ This is currently applicable to Parent and Chapter organisations.
In this article:
☝️ What is this?
If a user goes to join, renew or upgrade their membership to the parent organisation, the user will need to cancel or continue with their selection.
This is to prevent the user from mistakenly joining, renewing or upgrading their membership to the parent organisation by mistake.
Example wording:
Heads up! This will register you as a Regional Member with no chapter affiliation. Want to represent your local chapter? Swipe to find your chapter and join through them — your Regional membership will automatically update to reflect your chapter.
🔀 Setting this up
If enabled, members will see this message as a confirmation popup before joining, renewing, or upgrading on the mobile app for this organisation.
- Go to Settings >Organisation Settings (the parent and /or the chapter can select this setting)
- Approximately half way down the page, under Member app options, toggle on 'Show warning on Join / Renew / Upgrade.'
- Enter the wording you wish to display in the popup in the app

💡If you want any text to display in bold, include <b> before and after the section to be bold.
e.g. type: '<b>Member<b>' user will see 'Member'
🖼️ How this looks in the app
This user in the example below had clicked on the Upgrade Membership button:
- Cancel will take them back to their digital card, allowing them to swipe through their organisations. This is the case whether the user is active or inactive
- Continue will allow the user to proceed to payment.

⏰ If the user leaves the app inactive for more than 10 minutes and then selects Continue, they will receive this pop up again.
