Custom digital card

With a custom digital card, you can display an image that best represents your organisation on the digital membership card screen in the Hivepass mobile app.

A custom digital card has the following benefits:

⚙️ How do I get one?

  1. Go to Settings> Digital card styling
  2. Click on 'Contact Hivepass for a custom designed card' at the bottom right of the digital card styling page
  3. This will open an email to support@hivepass.app pre-populated with the following copy:  

Our organisation is interested in a custom designed digital card! { Attach 2-5 images and reversed, transparent logo files to work on a dark background or link to assets if available }

OR simply send the following to support@hivepass.app 

  1. PHOTOS: A selection of images that represent your organisation and what you do - our designer will try a few of them and find the one that works best within the space. We can add a photo credit too if required, so please provide these details if applicable  
  2. YOUR LOGO: A reversed logo (white with a transparent background) can look great overlaid on most images
  3. OPTIONAL EXTRA: If you have specific brand colours, supply these too. Our designer can add one of these to the menu icons to make the app look extra good! 

📸 What makes an ideal image to use?  

Things to consider: 

  • The membership details box will eclipse quite a large section of the top half of the image 

    Your logo will be overlaid on the image in the middle of the bottom half of the image, ideally, not all of the action is taking place here

    Consider what’s most important - maybe it’s the scenery your trails are within or maybe it’s the people or community? 

    Images that work well have;

    • Bright vibrant colours
    • Feature a rider (or a few)
    • Represent your organisation or area well
    • Allow the logo and member info panel to sit over the image and not obscure the best bits!
    • Image credits can be added if required

👀 Don’t stress if you don’t have the perfect image - the above serve as helpful guidelines in selecting an image that should work well. We can do a small amount of editing to increase contrast etc., to make your image sing! 

👍 Examples of great custom digital cards 

Here are some of our favourites and why we think they work so well. 

Most of our organisations use a logo without a background, but sometimes this is not possible. Here is an example of one that looks good without a transparent background.

🎯 What else do I need to do? 

Within a couple of working days of receiving your images and logo, our designer will email you with one or two options for you to choose from. At this stage you can request changes or confirm. The digital card is then locked in the Admin app. You don’t need to do anything!
